Announcing a new limited horror comic series, Phantom's Peak. Three years in the making, written and illustrated by A.E. Firestone, the story set in the year 2000 about a family who visits a hotel complex
in the middle of the Appalachian mountains, only to discover there's more
than it seems.
Mr. Firestone announced on X.com, that he will release a preview of Chapter 1 on Halloween on Storyteller. 24 out of 48 pages of the chapter was removed to not give too much away.
However, I'll release an abridged preview of the first chapter on Halloween.🎃#horror #comics https://t.co/2Xdn482lfV pic.twitter.com/z5CoZOjJMc

The story takes influences from Virginian folklore and avoided foreign and tired tropes from American media, this is strictly a Virginian story. The artwork is heavily influenced from old pre-digital comic book art from the 60s-80s with limited colors to give it a retro look.
It was originally suppose to be released this year, however, due to the author's health issues, he couldn't finish it on time. Now, since he's fully recovered, he will return to work on it. He considers it his passion project.
